Dr. Michael Spiegel, the rheumatologist at Danbury Orthopedics, was fellowship trained at Brown University, is a certified bone densitometry clinician, and a multiyear nominee to "Best Physicians in America." He treats the entire spectrum of general rheumatology problems and holds a special interest in osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases.

Dr. Spiegel provides his patients with outstanding arthritis and osteoporosis treatment along with convenience – his Danbury office features a state-of-the-art bone density (DXA) machine for efficient, accurate diagnosis of osteoporosis. In addition, he can provide most patients with their IV treatments at either his New Milford and Danbury offices. Dr. Speigel has conducted more than 100 clinical research trials and has delivered hundreds of lectures to physicians and rheumatologists on the topic of arthritis and osteoporosis. As a recognized authority on arthritis and osteoporosis treatment, local and national television outlets, including CNN and the Oxygen Network, have sought Dr. Spiegel's expertise.
