Dr. Frank Hermantin, Danbury Orthopedics's fellowship-trained spinal surgeon, believes his most important job is to help patients regain all of their normal function without pain; the majority of his patients are treated nonsurgically. Dr. Hermantin has extensive expertise in treating cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal conditions, such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and spinal instability. He specializes in minimally invasive back surgery, and performs more minimally invasive discectomies and outpatient spine surgeries than any other spine surgeon in the community.

Voted a top doctor by Delaware Magazine while in private practice in Delaware, Dr. Hermantin continues to deliver the finest in spinal surgery and treatment to patients in Fairfield County. Dr. Hermantin’s dedication and compassionate care extend beyond his Connecticut patients.  Following the earthquake in Haiti, Dr. Hermantin traveled with a team of volunteer physicians to deliver medical care to earthquake victims.
