Our leading rheumatologist is Dr. Michael Spiegel, who has practiced rheumatology for more than 20 years.  As a certified bone densitometry clinician, Dr. Spiegel has shared his expertise with hundreds of patients who have suffered fractures due to osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases. Danbury Orthopedics is one of a select group of facilities to feature a state-of-the-art DXA bone density machine, which allows for efficient, accurate diagnosis of our osteoporosis patients.

As a comprehensive rheumatology treatment practice, Danbury Orthopedics is able to engage in more direct patient time and patient education.  Our rheumatology staff includes highly experienced IV nurses and physician assistants.
