The Hand Center at Danbury Orthopedics now includes Dr. Lionel G. Brown and Dr. John G. Lunt, founders of the Hand Center of Western Connecticut, and their medical support team.  For more than 20 years, the Hand Center of Western Connecticut has maintained a reputation for excellence that continues today at Danbury Orthopedics.

Treatment at Danbury Orthopedics’s Hand Center begins with a thorough evaluation to uncover the even most difficult diagnoses and to formulate a personalized treatment plan. Our offices have the complete range of technologically advanced resources, including on-site fluoroscopy – real-time x-ray imaging that displays motion through a continuous series of images. This state-of-the-art imaging is used for diagnosing and establishing treatment, including hand surgery, carpal tunnel surgery, and wrist fracture surgery.

 As part of our "circular integration of patient care," The Hand Center at Danbury Orthopedics maintains comprehensive digital records and has virtually everything on-site that may be required for treatment.  Hand surgery can be performed in our licensed ambulatory surgical center. Also integral to our patients’ care is our highly skilled team of certified hand therapists, who help guide patients toward fast and complete recovery.
